The Design Process

Please contact me via Instagram DM, samrosestudio@gmail.com, or the contact page on this website with any questions or inquiries.

Let me know all of the details! What type of design are you interested in? Will the design be for personal or commercial use? If there is hand-lettering, would you like your business name or a quote? What kinds of doodles would you like included? If it is something specific, please send reference pictures. On what physical products do you intend to use the design? Is a specific file format or size needed? Is there a deadline? Do you have a specific color palette preference? The more details, the better!

Once I have all of the details and the required payment is sent, I will start working on the design!

My turnaround time is around three to four weeks. This is an estimate and can vary. If the design is needed sooner, I offer a rush fee. 

I will send an outline where you can make small changes before color is added.

Once the design is completed and approved, all files will be sent via email. 

I only make the digital design! If you are interested in a physical product, I can share manufacturer recommendations once the design is completed. 

Pricing and Payment Information

Pricing varies depending on the quantity and complexity of the designs, along with the project type. 

For smaller projects such as a profile picture, a full payment upfront is required.

For larger projects such as a coloring book, a 20% deposit upfront is required. Final files will not be sent until the final payment is fulfilled. 

Payments are accepted through Venmo or PayPal.

Projects do not begin until the agreed payment is received. 

I do not offer refunds once the project begins. 

Terms of Use

Personal Use: 

Sam Rose Studio retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the design. 

The design may only be used for non-commercial purposes such as a print displayed at home, a profile picture on a personal social media page, a gift to a friend, etc. 

The design may not be sold or profited off of in any capacity. 

The design may not be edited or altered in any way, including AI.

If the design has already been completed and you would like additional edits made to it, please let me know.

Commercial Use: 

Sam Rose Studio retains all copyright and intellectual property rights to the design. Once final files are sent, that specific design as a whole (lettering and doodles together) becomes exclusive to the client. The client may sell the design commercially on physical items only such as apparel, coloring books, stickers, etc. within their small business. 

Digital files of the design may not be sold or profited off of in any capacity.

The design may not be edited or altered in any way, including AI.

If the design has already been completed and you would like additional edits made to it, please reach out to me. 

The client is responsible for obtaining licensing from other parties if necessary. 

If the client would like to work with, partner with, or collaborate with another company outside of their small business using the design by Sam Rose Studio, approval is needed. There may be additional licensing fees.
